Canoga Park Elks Lodge and 8one8 Brewing Announce Charity Presentations

Canoga Park Elks and 8one8 Brewing to co-host presentation of checks to 4 local San Fernando Valley Charities

(Canoga Park, CA- February 8, 2023)- Presentation of donations raised from the 1^st Annual OKTOBERFEST is scheduled for Friday, March 3^rd. Located at the Elks Lodge #2190, 20925 Osborne St in Canoga Park, just west of De Soto and south of Nordhoff streets.  

The co-hosted 1st Annual OKTOBERFEST held last fall at the Canoga Park Elks Lodge facility brought together the community to support local community charities in a lively two-day festival.  The funds raised at the event will be presented Friday, March 3^rd to Haven Hills Domestic Violence Shelter, Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, Sepulveda Veterans Facility North Hills, and the California Hawaii Elks Association.

Canoga Park Elks Lodge President Randall Lewis says “ we are excited to continue assisting charities in our local community, a commitment we’ve upheld since we were formed in 1960.”  Derrick Olson of 8one8 Brewing says “we at 8 one 8 Brewing are a community-based business, focused on making great beer for the San Fernando Valley, and with the help of the Elks, are pleased to have been able to give back to our direct community and support the local charities that need our help the most. Thank you to our valuable attendees who came out to celebrate with us for an amazing event and cause!”

The public is invited to attend the event as we honor these local charities. FRIDAY MARCH 3^RD at the CANOGA PARK ELKS LODGE 2190 BEGINNING at 6PM, with DINNER TO FOLLOW AT 7PM and PRESENTATIONS AT 8PM.   Reservations can be made by calling 818/ 998-2193.  Tickets can be purchased for $20, deadline for reservations is February 28^th.
