Rancho Awarded Los Angeles County Arts and Culture Grant

Rancho San Antonio is proud to announce that we are a 2026 recipient of the Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) from the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture. The award is part of the Department’s $5.6 million investment supporting 353 nonprofit organizations that deliver arts, cultural, and community-based programming throughout Los Angeles County.

The grant will support Rancho San Antonio’s Creative Healing Arts (CHA) , a trauma-informed therapeutic arts initiative that provides youth with opportunities to heal, build resilience, and express themselves through visual arts, music, and other creative experiences.

Creative expression is an important part of the healing process. Through art, youth are able to process difficult experiences, explore their identities, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in ways that complement traditional therapeutic services.

The Community Impact Arts Grant program recognizes organizations whose primary mission is not arts-based but that incorporate the arts into their work to improve community well-being. The program was established to expand access to the arts for residents who may not otherwise experience them through traditional arts venues while encouraging the integration of creative practices into social service, justice, health, and other community-focused programs.

In 2026, the Department awarded Community Impact Arts Grants to 87 organizations across Los Angeles County. The grants support a wide range of programs that use the arts to promote healing, education, justice, and community connection.
