Rancho Awarded Los Angeles County Arts and Culture Grant
to Expand Creative Healing Arts Program
Rancho San Antonio is proud to announce it has been selected as a 2025 recipient of the Community Impact Arts Grant (CIAG) from the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture. The award is part of the Department’s $5.59 million investment in 349 nonprofit organizations that deliver arts, cultural, and healing-centered programming across Los Angeles County.
Our Creative Healing Arts (CHA) Program is a trauma-informed, therapeutic arts initiative that gives youth—particularly those involved in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems—a platform to heal and be heard. The CIAG funding will support this vital program, which provides access to visual arts, music, and creative expression in a safe, clinical setting on Rancho’s residential campus.
For youth navigating histories of abuse, neglect, poverty, and systemic marginalization, the Creative Healing Arts Program offers a nonjudgmental space to explore identity, build resilience, and process their experiences through creativity.
Administered by the LA County Department of Arts and Culture, the CIAG program supports nonprofits whose primary mission is not arts-focused but who deliver arts-based programming as part of their social service work. CIAG prioritizes projects that increase access to the arts in underserved communities and integrate creative practices into healing, justice, and cross-sector impact.
